The Ductility Testing Machine is designed to determine the ductility of bituminous materials by measuring the elongation of a briquette specimen until rupture under controlled conditions. The machine operates at a constant pulling speed of 50 mm/min, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.

The equipment is capable of testing three specimens simultaneously, improving testing efficiency and productivity. It features a precision-engineered carriage that moves smoothly along a lead screw mechanism. A robust electric motor coupled with a reduction gear unit provides uniform motion and continuous operation throughout the test.

The complete assembly is housed within a stainless steel lined water bath enclosed in a durable metal bound hardwood cabinet. The system is equipped with an electric heater and circulating pump to maintain uniform water temperature. A thermostatic temperature control system ensures precise temperature regulation during testing.

The machine offers two selectable travel speeds of 50 mm/min and 10 mm/min, making it suitable for various testing requirements. It is designed for operation on 230 V, 50 Hz, Single Phase AC power supply.
